Labor Inspired

Ever been to a place where they dance to the sound of music unheard?

Ever seen someone waiting yet in a hurry?

Ever seen someone in pains yet dramatic?

They call it ‘a point of life and death..’ There, one’s body is broken so life can come forth.

‘Labor,’ a perfect description of an awesome experience, a beautiful privilege to partner with the Creator in recreation, an intense process of the outburst of a seed that had metamorphosed into a fruit.

Labor, an experience rigorous, yet inspiring. When the fruit comes out, the dance to the unheard music begins to make sense, the patience engulfed by haste becomes worth the wait, the drama produced by the pain becomes an irreplaceable memory…

When the Baby cries her first, the bits and pieces begin to fall in place, the broken body feels relieved and like a flash of light, the whole process begins to feel like a dream.

“Don’t waste this pain, PUSH!!”. Yes, I remember the nurse told me that… Don’t trash that pain, birth something! Always remember that.

When a child is born, joy overwhelms the woman whose body was the host and the scars of childbirth suddenly means nothing…”No price is too much to pay for this blessing” she whispers…

She gains a new status and a new heart… The heart of a mother. A heart that loves to a fault, a heart that goes all out seeking to protect and defend.

Such a heart is one transformed by PAIN and refined by LOVE.
